Draisaitl, Bouchard lead Oilers to 5-4 OT win over Senators

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — Leon Draisaitl had two goals and three assists, Evan Bouchard scored on a power play 1:50 of overtime and the Edmonton Oilers rallied to beat the Ottawa Senators 5-4 on Tuesday night.

Brady Tkachuk tackled Connor McDavid in the penalty area in overtime, and Edmonton passed the ball to Bouchard, who scored for his 18th game of the season.

Zach Hyman tied the game for the Oilers with 1:25 left in the third period and goaltender Connor Ingram sent in an extra attacker. Hyman caught a pass from Draisaitl at the feet of Linus Ullmark and scored his 25th goal of the season.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins also scored and Ingram made 17 saves in the Oilers’ first home game in a month. They had lost five of their previous six games.

Derek Basson scored twice for the second straight game, and Dylan Cozens and Michael Amadio also scored for Ottawa. The Senators have a record of 6 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses in their past nine games.

Ullmark made 32 saves.
