Crawley Town have appointed former Derby County, Brighton and Sheffield United striker Colin Kazim-Richards as their new head coach.
The 39-year-old has been involved in Arsenal’s youth development and took over on Sunday after the club parted ways with Scott Lindsay.

Lindsay departs after a run of 10 games without a win in League Two, with Crawley picking up just five points, leaving them two places and a point above the relegation zone.
Kazim-Richards retired in 2023 after a spell with Turkish side Karagumluk. His former clubs include Celtic, Fenerbahce, Toulouse, Galatasaray, Olympiacos, Bursaspor, Feyenoord and Brazilian club Corinthians
After making his debut in 2007, he represented the Turkish national team in 37 appearances and scored two goals.
Club owner Raphael Khalili told the club’s website: “Following a thorough and competitive recruitment process, Colin emerged as an outstanding candidate.

“He is a natural leader with a wealth of experience in the dressing room and we firmly believe he is the right person to lead the club forward at this important time.”
Kazim-Richards’ first game in charge will be at home to Gillingham on Saturday, March 28, before a trip to relegation rivals Newport on Good Friday.
Kalili added: “Colin has enjoyed a very accomplished career and brings a wealth of experience at all levels of the game. This depth of knowledge will be invaluable given our current circumstances.
“Equally important is his ability to connect with players, inspire confidence and create a strong, unified environment within the squad.
