The University of North Carolina at Charlotte has officially named Wes Miller as the program’s next head coach. Miller is a coach with 15 years of experience, having spent time at UNC Greensboro (2011-2021) and Cincinnati (2021-2026) during his career.

A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, he played linebacker for the Tar Heels from 2004 to 2007 under Roy Williams.

Although he finished above .500 in each of his five years at Cincinnati (100-74), he was never able to lead the Bearcats to the NCAA tournament, ultimately leading to the two teams parting ways.
