Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 PC Specifications, Preloading Times Revealed; Activision Confirms Handheld Support

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is the next entry in the popular shooter series and will be released on PC, Xbox and PlayStation on November 14th. Days ahead of release, Activision Blizzard revealed the game’s PC specs and preload times, and released a PC-only trailer for the game on Tuesday. The publisher also confirmed that Black Ops 7 will run on most Windows-based gaming handheld devices, including the new ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X.

Activision said in a blog post on the Call of Duty website that Black Ops 7 will bring PC-specific features and enhancements, including more than 800 customization options, ultrawide monitor support, support for frame generation technologies such as AMD FSR 4, the Ricochet anti-cheat system, and more.

Development of the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is led by Beenox, in partnership with Treyarch. Activision says the game has been optimized to run well on a variety of PC hardware.

Black Ops 7 preload time

“Call of Duty: Black Ops 7” will be released on November 14th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. Players who pre-order the game from November 10 at 9 am PT (10:30 pm IST) will be able to pre-load it on all platforms. The preload will include all modes of Black Ops 7: Co-op Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. The game will be launched at midnight local time on November 14th.

Black Ops 7 on Windows Handheld Devices

Activision has confirmed that Black Ops 7 is tuned for most Windows-based games and handheld devices, including ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. On handheld devices, Black Ops 6 will have enhanced UI legibility and a scaled screen for smaller displays. Activision claims that the military shooter has been optimized to run well on handheld devices without sacrificing image quality.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will also be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on day one. The game is available for pre-order on all supported platforms.
