With a dominant second half performance, the Northwestern Wildcats defeated the Indiana Hoosiers and likely pushed them out of the bubble into the dark, wet NIT region for the right to play the Purdue Boilermakers in Thursday night’s Big Ten Championship game.
Of course, these two teams met not too long ago, with Purdue winning thanks to the heroics of Cecil Joseph Cox. You may know him better as CJ Cox. Hopefully that won’t happen this time. Purdue is looking for their game after a terrible stretch in which they lost multiple games at home and shocked Purdue fans everywhere.
