Krafton tweeted about the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India update on Instagram, writing: “Update 1.6.5 will roll out this October.” No specific release date was mentioned, but the accompanying video explained the update and its effects in detail. Multiple modes.
One of the first features players already have is Metro Royale: Reunion Mode — which launches on September 28. The new game mode allows players to bring items found in the game to the loadout inventory as loot, provided the player reaches the reward at a specified point in time.
Players will then be able to use these items in their next match, or sell them on the black market for Metro Cash, which helps players buy special items for Metro Royale: Reunion mode. This mode contains three maps, which are unlocked based on the player’s FAME level. Metro Royale: Reunion mode has four different sub-modes – Basic, Undercover, Advanced and Assault.
Battlegrounds Mobile India added the Vikendi map on October 8th. The snow-covered map spans 6 kilometers in each direction. Players can use snowmobiles and G36C guns.
Runic Power Mode will be available to players starting October 15th. Players can choose from three runes on the Isle of Rebirth – North Pole, Fire and Wind. Each rune has special skills, divided into offense and defense. Each skill uses some Rune Crystals when used. Arctic Rune creates a wall of ice for defense and uses frozen ammo as an offensive skill. Fire Rune gains Magma Wheel and Searing Ammo as attack skills. Finally, the Wind Rune allows the player to create a shelter to reduce damage from enemy bullets, while the Wind Boost skill increases the player’s reload speed and movement speed.
On October 22nd, Battlegrounds Mobile India will get Survival Till Dawn mode. In this case, the player needs to defend against the infected zombies in the Erangel map, and there are some rewards if the player defeats the zombies and their bosses.
According to reports, the Payload 2.0 mode is scheduled to be released on October 31, and in this mode, helicopters and armed cars are equipped with powerful weapons, such as AT4-A laser missiles and M202 quadruple RPG. Additionally, players will get portable radar, bomb suits, and drone control terminals, which can be found in super weapon chests throughout the map. Additionally, players will be able to resurrect a fallen comrade from a communication tower multiple times using the IDs in the fallen teammate’s loot box.
Viral Infection – Halloween mode will be available starting October 31st and it consists of three rounds. Basically, players will be randomly divided into teams of zombies or humans, the zombies have to infect the humans, and the humans have to protect themselves from the undead. If a zombie infects or kills a human, the team wins and vice versa.
Additionally, Krafton announced through a post on its website that it had permanently banned 81,049 accounts from October 1 to October 7. These accounts have been banned for inappropriate behavior or cheating. Battlegrounds Mobile India thoroughly monitored the leaderboard and banned 517 accounts between September 25 and October 13. When the developer first announced the ban on allegedly cheating accounts last month, it banned more than 140,000 accounts in a week.
