Airbnb CEO Brian Chase asked on Twitter earlier this week: “If Airbnb could launch any product in 2022, what would it be?”

On Tuesday, he revealed that he had received 4,000 suggestions and pointed out that his company accepts encrypted payments. He added: “Since 2013, our existing payments = 336 billion U.S. dollars,” and noted:

In November last year, Chesky was asked whether Airbnb was considering accepting cryptocurrencies. He replied:

We are definitely studying it. Absolutely. Just like the travel revolution, there is clearly a revolution going on in the cryptocurrency field.

Chesky pointed out, “The founder of Coinbase is our early employee,” Chesky revealed, “We have been focusing on this space for a long time.”
