Elsewhere in the SEC, Mississippi State pulled off one of the most shocking SEC results we’ve seen this year, beating No. 15 Tennessee by 15 points to hand the Vols their first conference loss of the season. Michigan State’s Karissa Robinson scored 21 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. It was a tough loss for a Tennessee team hoping to stay atop the SEC.
Alabama beat Georgia in a ranked battle. After the first quarter, the Tide trailed by 8 points, but ultimately won 68-53.
Oklahoma State, Texas and South Carolina all made trades against unranked opponents. Here are the latest standings following Thursday’s game.

LSU remains in position to win the regular season title with a 6-2 record. With South Carolina still on the schedule, LSU controls its own destiny. Beat the Gamecocks and take care of business elsewhere, and the Tigers could end up with the best record in the SEC.
