There are just two days left until the start of Major League Baseball’s 2026 season, so now is the perfect time to look at the projected win totals for all 30 teams this season. After a busy offseason, there are some interesting predictions this year that could affect the rankings from last season.

On this episode of Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman make their predictions and explain why they’ll be over or under each team’s projected wins. While the Los Angeles Dodgers are coming off an incredible season, becoming the only team on track to surpass the 100-win mark can be a tall order. After an incredibly disappointing season, can the Atlanta Braves exceed their expectations?
Jack and Jordan then went deep into the American League to ask if the New York Yankees (who essentially had their roster restored starting in 2025) could break the 94-win mark. They then took a tough stance on whether the Houston Astros’ first postseason absence last year in a while accurately reflected their projected win total this season.
