Audi's SQ8 solves some of the aesthetic issues of the regular Q8 and adds a lot of performance.

Audi There are two new performances SUV For buyers to consider 2020 SQ7 with SQ8. While we recently learned about the cost of getting started with SQ7, Audi on Thursday the cost of its more fashionable SQ8 family members.

The cheapest SQ8 costs $ 89,995, which includes a destination fee of $ 995. This gives buyers the Premium Plus trim. Access to the only other trim level Prestige is $ 95,495.

Indeed, the choice of 2020 SQ8 or SQ7 is intentional. Both SUVs are equipped with a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that can output 500 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque, and the list of options is quite similar. An eight-speed automatic transmission is variable speed and powers four wheels, while Audi incorporates all-wheel steering into a high-performance SUV.

Frankly, the biggest difference between the two is in appearance. Personally, I dug into the Q8 and its sporty SQ8 brothers on the Q7 series, but people who like the traditional SUV shape may switch to the Q7.

Audi's giant "single frame" grille is loud and clear, while its wide wheel arches are reminiscent of the original Audi Sport Quattro coupe. The LED taillight bar further pays tribute to the highly regarded Sport Quattro.

Throughout the process, the letter S was brought to our cockpit with many sporty elements. The steering wheel and seat are dedicated to the SQ8 and feature massage, heating and ventilation. Black, gray or red interiors can also be used to add color to things. The driver will find the latest MMI Touch system, which has two touch screens to handle infotainment and HVAC control, while a 12.3-inch digital cockpit is ahead. Rounding is a list of active safety gear.

Like SQ7, SQ8 will reach dealers in the coming months. Both will be sides of the Audi Hero Performance SUV RS Q8.
