2 injured in New York City MTA bus collision

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) — Two civilians were taken to the hospital after an MTA bus crashed on Station Island during the morning rush hour Tuesday, according to fire officials.

The bus crashed in the southbound lanes of the West Coast Expressway near Exit 8 and Southern Boulevard around 6:20 a.m.

Air11 video shows at least two vehicles colliding with the bus. Two injured people were taken to local hospitals, but their conditions were not immediately released.
